Job Title:  Machine learning research scientist

Place: Santa Clara, California

 

  

Qualifications & Experience:

 

You must possess a Ph.D. (or graduating soon with Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Stats, Applied Math or Engineering, and strong publication record. Additional qualifications include:

- Ability to start work immediately

- An expert in general supervised and unsupervised machine learning

- An expert in learning and inference algorithms for graphical models such as dynamic Bayesian networks

- Familiar with planning under uncertainty algorithms, examples of which include Markov decision processes (MDPs), partially observable MDPs and reinforcement learning

- Other desired qualifications include strong programming skills, proven results in developing tractable machine learning solutions to real world problems and excellent communication and team player skills

- Knowledge about OS Power Management would be an added advantage

- Ability to travel within US

 

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

 

In this position, you will be researching new applications and new algorithms for Intel's Power Management Research Project focused on mobile platforms.

You will have the opportunity to define and coordinate intern projects, research assistants, work closely with software and/or hardware integrators

to implement algorithms on real world platforms. You will be collaborating with other researchers within Intel and academia, leading intern and/or

University research projects, participating in demos @ Intel® Developer Forums and/or Research Forums,

be involved in publications and/or inventions for Intel.
