I think we should have a (simple) image header, that at least provides information about the size - but eventually we might want to know the load and entry point addresses as well, so we could as well just reuse struct image_header for this purpose, too. One use case we should keep in mind here is not to load the regular U-Boot image, but something completely different - like a Linux kernel, for example.
