It'd have to be something more specific, like: LIBS-$(CONFIG_SYS_SPL_NAND_SIMPLE) += nand/nand_boot.o LIBS-$(CONFIG_SYS_SPL_NAND_FSL_ELBC) += nand/nand_boot_fsl_elbc.o ...
