In that case, i would stick with adding a .h file along with a common handoff dtsi as i didin the a10 filter script i sent the other week. I would suggest your source is perfectfor migrating existing c5/a5 platforms. Is there a preference for python? It would fit nicely b/c we could re-use the codeI pointed out previously for binary parsing.
