While even I won't give the credit to Gov Brown (who has gone from the oddest Governor in the nation in his first incarnation to the most grown up Governor in the nation in his second - I really liked both), even when it comes to the drought things are looking up. A year ago at this time 92% of the state was experieincing severe to exceptional drought conditions; today it is "only" 60% (and looks like rain will be falling o my leaky roof tomorrow). And I do credit JB for quickly and strongly standing up to the President-Elect and letting him know that regardless of what the federal government does, California will continue its program of following science, and trying to lessen its impact on climate change and dealing with its consequences.
