Somebody sent this to me yesterday. The whole thing is so distasteful, but what really got my attention was that at one point she says something like she really needs help, and McGraw says something like "that's what I'm here for". WTF? I think that is dangerously close for him to the line of what he should be allowed to say on an entertainment show. He is not allowed to provide metal health services, and it seems here that this is exactly what he is offering her.
Don't get me wrong, there are other disturbing things in the episode, but my understanding was that even when he was sleazy and exploitative he stayed within the rules.
