We won't be solving this on an application level because it would provide
no security gains. Trojita is designed with an assumption that on-disk
cache is private to the current user, for example.
Have you considered using a separate user account for e-mails? Modern
desktops have nice support for running multiple simultaneous sessions on
different virtual terminals.
