Yeah, packagers don't like bundles libraries at all :)
New external libraries are ok but of course additional effort so optional is 
helpful.
What they have no problem with is library that are already packaged, which for 
Qt Keychains seems to be the case at least here on Debian.

While I find this a worthwhile goal as well, I would be cautious as to whether 
this would go beyond a scope that can be completed within a GSOC timeframe.
My recommendation would be to go for single pluigns per category for now, woth 
the option of extending the host app later on to allow multiple instance to be 
queried.
