They worshiped a bunch of gods. Including El and his consort, Asherah. Although El later became conflated with Yahweh, that was arguably just Israelite propaganda. If you're interested in that stuff, I highly recommend Stover's first two novels, _Iron Dawn_ and _Jericho Moon_. He portrays the early Habiru as basically demon worshipers.
