Oh, and one more note.. I've found that machines that run backup mx (and likely can't do user_exists type checks at the smtp level), get hit particularly hard by spam to bogus addresses, ending with bounces that can't be processed. This is a really good place to run greylisting. If someone is going to target a backup mx when the primary is available, chances are, it's illegitimate mail.
