What are your suggestions regarding delays? Currently I've installed
this patch on one of my servers with default delay (55min), and it seems
it works.

I've seen suggestions for lowering the delay to something like 5 minutes. That way direct-to-mx is essentially blocked, and proper mailers can get in quickly.

As for broken mailers - I do not think there are a lot of them...

You'd be wrong.. It's not so much the mailers that are the problem though.. Many web forms use direct-to-mx mailing rather than forwarding the message to a proper mailserver to be delivered. So, if a user signs up for something via a web form, they may never get the confirmation.. Sad but true...

Kind regards,

Vladimir.
