I was all set to say that I am in favor of adoption, but Stephen’s post changed 
my mind.

The conservative and safe thing is to stick to hybrids and that is what the 
IETF should do for now. Codepoints can be assigned, and an ISE RFC is fine. The 
only thing that is missing is the IETF recommendation for “Y” and I am opposed 
to that for now.
