The IETF community generally ignores that and posts their view. Part of the reason for the construction is to just confirm consensus from a recent meeting. Part of the reason why people post support is that there is concern that if there is a flurry of "objection" posts, there is a risk that the earlier consensus view might not be remembered. Shrug.
