Hello,
I'm having trouble with my modem. It
seems to be a winmodem, and these are not likely to run under Linux.
Under ms dos, it's at COM1, under Linux I
received these information with ls -l /dev/modem: /dev/ttyS1
But isn't it a fact that ttyS1 is the same as COM2 under ms dos. Is my modem in the wrong
dev?
And does anyone know anything about
adjusting a winmodem (Supra Express 56i PRO) to Linux? ------ I cannot download
with ftp, well, because my modem does not work ;-).
Thank you very much for your
help!
