A long time ago, I had a good experience with rackspace hosting - where we shipped our servers to their datacenter and they racked and supported them. Never again. Since that time, I've had nothing but terrible experiences with them, and that includes their "fanatical" support. On their cloud infrastructure storage network, they lose packets, which results in IO errors. I measured and proved this, and spent like a week on the phone and email with their support, which concluded, "if it were a problem, we would have heard complaints by now." To which I'm like ... Yeah, because obviously your customers have IT staff onhand to diagnose your network - and when your *one* customer does have that IT staff (me) calling, you believe them. *cough* cough. And jungledisk. Well, that's so far off tangent, I'm just going to drop it. Rubbish is all I can say. _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list Tech@lists.lopsa.org https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
