I cannot believe my eyes, and I'm not finding anybody complaining about this on
the internet, so can somebody please confirm you see the same behavior?

When you send email from yahoo, and the recipient doesn't exist (email bounces)
then yahoo deletes the bounce message. So the sender is unaware of the problem,
and continues sending email into oblivion.

My Mom is mad at me because she thinks I've been ignoring her. She finally
emailed my wife to complain about me ignoring her, (my wife also uses yahoo) so
then I started looking at things, and have confirmed even from my wife's
account, that's the behavior I'm seeing.

For a specific point of reference, my mom was sending mail to
metabol...@nedharvey.com<mailto:metabol...@nedharvey.com>, which is not a valid
email address.

When I send from gmail to metabolism, I get a bounce message.
When I send from my wife's yahoo to metabolism... Nothing.

Thanks everyone.
