"Should" if the source machine is the _only_ source machine backing up to the 
target TM destination. 


When the target is the target for multiple source machines, TM needs an 
occasional bit of manual help. At least that's what I found to be true with 
three laptops and three desktops backing up to my Synology hosted TM server. 


The core of the issue is that the oldest backups for the source machine are the 
only old backups that are candidates for deletion.
