Well tonight we are going to try the instashare app for the iphone and ipad using a clear hotspot. I am also goingg to test my cisco wifi office router. Just to see which has the stronger signal. The clear will be good to use when we can't be in the press box and at away games. The big issue at a High School stadium is interference by the metal bleachers/stands. I have had to play with different channels on our radio head sets at one stadium because of the interference and also the close proximity to an air base (McQuire/Ft. Dix in NJ) .
While doing this I found that some of the laptops we were testing would not authenticate to the clear hotspot. The laptop in question was a Dell running Windows 8. Even though the hot spot was on the same desk my iphone and ipad connected but the Dell would not authenticate. It is never easy.
