Keeping an outlook and Google apps calendar in sync isn't easy. There may be a third-party app that does it. The way I deal with the "work and home calendar" situation is to create the events on my work calendar and "invite" my home email address to the event. Then it shows up in both places and changes in both places when I adjust the time. This works when both calendars are Google Calendar. I'm not sure if Outlook will let you send an invite to Google Calendar and keep it in sync.
