I use my N86 with Talks and the TTS installed in phone memory. The N86 has memory available for that. Now if you go and install all the VCM voices, Then I would put them on the Mass memory or the memory card. But for one or two you should be OK. It really comes down to you as far as what you want in phone memory and what you want on the mass memory and or the memory card. Talks will run from all 3 OK. You can use the file manager to find out how much of each type of memory you have free on the N86.

Hello Stephen,

I purchased my N86 through TalkNav here in the UK who installed Talks on the phone. When I switch to the vocalizer voices there is nothing spoken about
them being a demo and how long they will be active for. I found them less
responsive than eloquence so I uninstalled them, mainly to give myself more
memory.

Incidentally, the N86 doesn't have much phone memory, and it is recommended to install applications into the phone memory, although you have a choice during installation. I understand installing applications into the mass memory makes them slower and less responsive. Could anyone who has an N86 8MP phone please advise me how to manage the memories on the phone. I have a 16GB MicroSD card installed which I will use to store music and other large files. Thanks in
advance for any helpful suggestions.

Best wishes,

Clive Pallett
