Helo All.
Now, of course I know this is a Talks list sdo apologies for a short off
topic email and then I'll leave this alone.

The comments about the iPhone in general have not been my experience.
I have dropped many Nokkia phones (Accidentally Of Course) and they have
sustained damage in various ways.
Most people now put their iPhone in a case which means that unless you drop
it on the screen on a hard floor, it will not be damaged.
I have never had the problem with Voiceover turning itself off as you
state.

I now have a brand new iPhoane and I find i6t extremely good in all
departments.

That's It.

make sure your iphone never falls out of your packot. Nokia phones
can take being dropped but the iphone screen will shatter unless you
are very lucky. I've owned an iphone and could not wait to be rid of
it and to go back to talks. From time to time voiceover will just
disable itself as if it was a new phone. You will either need
sighted help or to connect to a pc with itunes installed to
reactivate voiceover.
If you use turn by turn gps you will not have this on iphone that is
accessible.
