Well this is the first memory card that i've had fail in any way. Of
cource it can't die literally not being alive to start with. So ok
then it's failing in some ways. I can copy files to and from it with
out a problem. The format gets to 99 percent complete then
fails. The book player I use on my e72 has no problems with the card
while other programs display error messages. Checkdisk reports no
problem with the card.
As I've not encountered this kind of problem on any memory card to
say that it's dying I thought was appropriate as it has not failed as
such but neither is it working as it should. Sometimes when I put it
in a card reader it's not recognized but removing and replacing it
the card works normally.

Dying? I didn't know memory cards could die.
Or is that a synonym for corruption? Enlighten me.

Subject: [Talks] e72 music player issues.
Well I discovered the problem was the 32 gig memory card was
dying. Windows checkdisk said it was ok but when I tried to format
it both using a pc or phone the card could not be formatted. When
music player tried to refresh the library errors came up prompting
me to retry or data would be lost. When I used an old 16 gig card
the music player when launched reported it was reparing a corrupt library.
perhaps that is why the gost albums and artists could not be
removed in the first place.
The odd thing is there are no errors copying to or reading from the
card either with file manager or a card reader. it's a pity that
when an error is displayed the phone often beeps making it almost
impossible to hear what talks is saying
