Hi try this and I am sure with few tries, u surely can make it cause as a blind person, I installed my talks so called blindly without sighted assistance.
1. Using Bluetooth. Shortcut to on C5 is by long press of Star key. Now, from another phone, try to search for your c5 bluetooth name. If not able to find it, means not successfully on. try again, long press of star key. If already received talks file in your no screen phone, to make sure u get the prompt for a new msg, switch off the phone and on it. Once your phone loaded, keep repeating softkey-1 pressing on about 5 seconds interval. If your warning and keypad tone is on, it will be easier but if not, just keep on repeating it. 2. If not able to and u have a computer with pc suite. try to connect phone to pc via USB. When there is a beep on your phone, press select assuming that if you are on the 1st option which to get it connected via pc suite. then from pc, hit enter on the talks file. You should get warning to install it on your phone and select Yes. Again, once u select yes and if your phone warning is on, you should hear a beep and so try the above, press softkey-1 repeatedly in intervals of 5 seconds. If when hit enter on file and u never get prompt to install, means u are not in pc suite mode and could be on mess storage mode. disconnect your USB cable and plug in again and when hear beep, press up once and then select and hope it selects Pc suite mode. Talks key and long press of the options key which is top left as the phone faces you. It is just below the screen. Take a good 5 seconds of holding down the long press! Now you are in Talks. Now press the options key, same top left key. This brings you in to Talks options. Use your up arrow key 4 times and press select. Do let us know how you get on. Now I can't get a sightie to go back in and re-enable TALKS. Is there any key press or combination that will override the disable and bring TALKS back on? Otherwise, it's now junk!
