Just a slight correction! You must be in the FM Radio before you do the
Talks followed by long SoftKey1 to open the Talks Settings. You can not
select FM Radio from within the Talks settings. You must be in the program
that you want to add App. Specific settings for. Also note you may have to
wait 3 or 5 seconds before you get the radio back after making the priority
setting change. This isn't saying it will work 100% But worth a try. Also
you can try switching to the Nokia TTS from within the App. Specific
settings to see if that helps. This away it will only be used for the FM
Radio.

Well, turns out that changing the audio priority for the radio application
didn't do the trick on my E73, but it might for you. To
add the setting to the FM radio, there are two ways:
1. Press Talks, then * (star) to open Talks Configuration.
2. Press Key1, then arrow to App Specific settings, then choose FM Radio
and press Select.
3. Press Key1, arrow to Add app specific value, then press select.
4. Arrow up to "Audio Priority", and press Select.
5. Press Select on "Audio Priority", and choose 2.
Alternative, to open the app specific settings,
1. Press Talks, Long Select, then when the editor pops up, press Select,
and choose App specific settings, then follow steps 3 and
onwards from above.
You're done.
Good luck,
Timothy

Dear Stephen,
Timothy's suggestion has worked but I can't use the menus because talks is
mute.
In your suggestion does talks continue working when you turn on the radio?
If the answer is yes, could you please tell me how to change priority to
radio?
Thanks for all,
Paulo

You could also change the priority in the Talks Application specific
settings for the Radio.

You can, if you have talks muted or set your synthesizer to none before
starting the FM radio application. At last that's how I got
it to work on my Nokia E73 Mode. Really sucks that they haven't fixed
that... I just thought of something that may possibly fix it.
I'll test and get back to you in a couple of minutes.

Subject: [Talks] FM radio. Asking again
Hi listers,
I've already asked about it in another e-mail but I've got no answer.
It's possible that my english was a little confused in the
last postings. I'm a portuguese speaker. So I'll try to ask it again.
Can we use fm radio with talks?
In my e72 I get no fm radio sound.
I can access the menus in fm radio application normally but nothing
seems
to work.
If any other user says "yes, I can use fm radio normally with talks"
I'll
check if my e72 has a deffect.
Any suggestions please?
Regards, Paulo
