Hi Neil,

>From my experience, even after u have transfer your license to a new phone
and sold off the old phone with it formatted, if the new purchaser knows u
using talks, they can easily install it and restore license and the old
license is still there.

If also they know that u have and they managed to check the serial number
before, they can also enter it manually.

Ok, don't talk to me about wrong or right here, I am just telling that it
can happen this way.

Talks Premium is 100% not for resale, so you cannot give your license away
with a handset that you sell on.

This includes even if you transfer that license to another device etc.

Talks Standard is a different product, and, it would be my feeling that you
can give away your handset with a Talks Standard license included, as it has
no real value.

Although, the 100% test of this would be to go into the Talks settings on a
handset running Standard, press options key and scroll to license. in here
read down to transfer or assignee rights, if they are excluded than you may
not sell your Talks standard license as part of any resale of your device.

Hi Neil
Good to see you back on list. On another list where the issue of someone
selling their phone from Vodafone and Talks from Vodafone, I commented that
Talks could not be sold with the phone and had my head just about bitten off
*smile*. Anyway can we possibly get an official confirmation on this. You
can send to me off list. the person then informed me that they had
contacted Vodafone and Nuance in High Wickham I think it was but somewhere
in the UK and they were told all is well and they can sell on the Vodafone
with Talks that was put on by Vodafone. I then crawled away but would love
some clarification on this and who better to give it than yourself *smile*.
