Are you with Vodafone by any chance? Tell the list what version of firmware you 
have and we can see if someone has a more up-to-date firmware. I would take it 
in to Vodafone if it is a Vodafone phone. They do not charge to update the 
firmware and it will just take a few days. I appreciate if you can do it at 
home on the PC IT IS MUCH better but if not them you will have to go for the 
next option. I love the e71.

Hi guys,

Eleanor: it's curious -- when I ran the software updater, it said my
firmware was up-to-date despite the fact that I know new versions have
been released. I'm constrained a bit by the firmware that my wireless
provider will function with, but even so the software updater wont'
let me upgrade. It's bizarre. And no need to apologize for a thing!

Dave: I actually don't have any apps installed whatsoever beyond Talks
and Eloquence.
