hi Bernard,
I am sure you must have noticed, as I did that, the latest eloquence has
a slightly different voice, which has impacted some bit of clarity.
furthermore, a couple of other sad changes have also come in as a result of
the latest firmware upgrade for e72, wherein, it no more announces the names
of the people who have sent the smses, which it did earlier.
one of the features that I had been waiting in new talks releases is the
ability to read word by word & character by character on the web. it is
quite an important feature, which, it seems, thus far, has not been conveyed
to the makers of the software. I was told that, this & the other lists for
talks are monitored by nuance in search of feedback & features but this one,
seems to have skipped their attention.
can I request someone to convey this feature request to the makers?
bharat.

Subject: [Talks] all is well.
Well I just remembered my new spare e72-2 still in the box and only
firmware upgraded the one time to the firmware version who's help files
worked well with the version of talks before this latest release, not only
that the email client worked perfectly as did the browser and symbol list.
I'm very pleased I forgot about that handset as far as upgrades go. I
think it's about time it stopped being a spare. I've just taken it from
it's box, loaded the battery and connected the charger. I'm not sure if I
should put the latest talks on it or just upgrade from
talks_501_1_signed to talks_520_3_signed.
I may have to re purchase a couple of apps like phone wallet, bet timer
and walking hotspot. Still it's a lot cheaper than switching to another
platform I don't like anyway.
I was trying to sell the new e72-2 now I am pleased I did not.
