Have you got Talks installed? Are you sure the battery is completely dead? If this is a brand new phone and you have just taken it out of the box have you checked the battery to see if there is some sort of covering on the battery that is covering the terminals? Or possibly in the phone if you can not remove the battery, which I know some of these new phones you can not, there may be a sort of tab that you have to pull in oreder to engage the charging contacts between the battery and the phone. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorbu...@btinternet.com> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Wednesday, August 10, 2011 10:34 AM Subject: Re: [Talks] e7 Problem I am familiar with that Brad. It has been on for hours! -original message- Subject: Re: [Talks] e7 Problem From: "Brad Keller" <keller...@gmail.com> Date: 10/08/2011 4:30 pm Eleanor, if the battery has been totally drained and by this I mean no charge at all then when you plug in the charger it will not beep or indicate right away that it is charging. Leave it on the charger for a bit and it should eventually beep. My N85 and other Nokia phones have always done this when the battery is completely drained. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorbu...@btinternet.com> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Wednesday, August 10, 2011 9:35 AM Subject: [Talks] e7 Problem I have a new e7 and I appear to have a problem with it' once the battery ran flat, I appear to be unable to recharge it' the power is certainly going through but when I plug in the power either via the mains or via my PC that charging noise does not come on nor does the phone light up initially. I try turning the phone on but to no avail. It may well be that the phone is faulty but I am surprised at a bran new phone being faulty. Just wondered if there might be some sort of boust button where a pin or something may be used to try and turn on the phone. Unfortunately it is one of these phones where the battery does not come out. Any ideas from those of you who use this phone- _______________________________________________ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/ _______________________________________________ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/ _______________________________________________ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/ _______________________________________________ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/ _______________________________________________ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/
