Hi Eleanor.

Look, that's why the list is here and why we all support and assist each
other so stop apologising. - that's telling you.

I'm sure there is a hard reset but I can't remember what it is.
There is perhaps one other rather obvious thing I might suggest, can you
get hold of another battery to try?
Maurice.

Yours Sincerely

 Hi Eleanor.
 This is a strange one.
I have charged my E7 either via the PC using it's USB port or with the
mains adaptor so to be nonest, sounds like either a faulty bbattery or the
phone.
Sorry I can't be more help.

Subject: [Talks] e7 Problem

I have a new e7 and I appear to have a problem with it' once the battery ran
flat, I appear to be unable to recharge it' the power is certainly going
through but when I plug in the power either via the mains or via my PC that
charging noise does not come on nor does the phone light up initially. I try
turning the phone on but to no avail. It may well be that the phone is
faulty but I am surprised at a bran new phone being faulty. Just wondered if
there might be some sort of boust button where a pin or something may be
used to try and turn on the phone. Unfortunately it is one of these phones
where the battery does not come out. Any ideas from those of you who use
this phone-
