No updating your phones firmware will not hurt you trial code. However in
saying that, i would still go into the Talks settings, options, register, then
manual registration and then arrow to the serial number at the bottom of the
list and write it down. You may need to turn off t9 so you can arrow throu the
16 character code one character at a time to write it down.

Produced on a Nokia N95 smart phone using a Symbian based screen reader.

Hardware eventually fails, software eventually works.
No amount of bandwidth can fix poor design.

Stephen,

I downloaded the Nokia update tool and installed it on my computer. I
haven't updated the firmware on my phone though.

I am able to sync my Nokia N73, however, when I select the nokia C5 it
responds with:

"The connected phone is not supported by PC sync"

If I update the firmware will it have any affect on my 10-day talks license?
My C5 is running:

Software manager Version 032.010 software version date July 17 2010 custom
version 032.010.246.01 custom version date august 11 2010
