Thank you for such a prompt response. Please can you tell me what the other options are for? I do not understand them. How do they differ from that option of Contact? How do I uncheck your point 5 in the list? What for example did that mean, that message which you have so kindly told me how to alter? Many thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Allan" <em...@nextg.my>

1. go to contacts.
2. press key1 for options.
3. arrow up/down to settings and press select to open it.
4. there are 3 option, contact to display, default saving memory and name showing format. you need to select the first one, contact
to display.
5. uncheck the last one, service number, and press key1 to accept the changes.

that's it, you should be able to save your new contact to your phone memory.

HTH.

Subject: [Talks] C5 query

Can anyone help with this C5 message.
unable to access contacts saved to service numbers
The contacts are actually there but it is strange getting this message. How
can I stop having the message and just have it say Contacts?
