Probably you have misunderstood my difficulty. The problem is that when I
go out and try to search any location I get the message connection failed nd
it only searches from the maps off line. I have set my internet settings in
the accounts to online. What is it that I may be doing wrong?

do it through software update on the phone go to control panel then phone
then software update.
Check that the software settings are correct so it uses your lan.
