Il progetto OSM viola il copyright e le regole del progetto OSM!
Primo paragrafo dei termini di Yahoo Maps:
The data included in Yahoo! Maps, including but not limited to maps,
routes, and directions ("Data"), is provided for your personal use
only and not for resale.
"Autorizzazione" all'uso dei dati di Yahoo Maps:
"I can reiterate that the OSM's usage of the free API for overlaying
GPS and tracings appears to be well within the terms of use"
[1. "I": chi è che parla? che ruolo ha all'interno di Yahoo? ha
l'autorizzazione per parlare? sulla base di quale delibera sta
parlando? è consapevole di quello che ha detto? è sicuro di avere
capito bene i suoi termini d'uso? è esperto di copyright?
2. "appears to be"? SEMBRA?]
e la conclusione ufficiale del progetto:
"We don't have a written agreement explaining exactly what is
permitted. It seems to be more a case of agreeing an interpretation of
their Terms of Use"
