As long as it is not so many, they could all go into the same file, but I think we will sooner or later have to break this up into several files, both by continents (or more generically, by location) and by size/map scale (you won't use very small and very big polygons in the same map anyway). On the other hand, splitting information according to intended map scale will lead to duplicate information across scales and grow the required maintenance effort, so I am reluctant to make this step as long as it can be avoided. This part is still work in progress and will also depend on the number of external contributions. Cheers, Martin
