There is also the practical aspect: even if the license is permissive, it doesn’t imply you can actually get the data for downloading. Facebook has changed conditions of their services in the past, let’s recall their whatsapp acquisition where they promised it would remain “independent” from the rest of Facebook and where they then combined/unified their messenger services under the same hood some years later. If history has told us one thing, it’s not to trust facebook (IMHO not even as far as you’re able to throw them)...
