Hello Martin, A refill scheme is a cafe, bar, restaurant, club, hotel participating in one of the many refill schemes where they agree to fill up anybody's water bottle for free without any requirement to consume on the premises. Self serve is not a requirement. A sticker or sign must be shown for an establishment to be tagged as part of the refill scheme and just because a barman fills up your bottle, one shouldn't tag a bar as part of a refill scheme. Nor should an establishment be tagged as part of a refill scheme if you need to fill your bottle up in the bathroom.
There are more small ones in the US and in specific European cities, like Lucerne, Lausanne, and Berkeley. European Water Project will be contributing to the creation of a 100% open data collaborative database of establishments participating in the refill revolution. best regards, Stuart Here is a list of some of the participating schemes globally. - Australia – ChooseTap <http://choosetap.com.au/> - Bulgaria – Zero Waste Sofia <http://zerowastesofia.com/watermap/> - Cambodia – Refill Asia <https://refillasia.com/> / RefillMyBottle <https://refillmybottle.com/> - Canada – BlueW.org <http://www.bluew.org/>; Tap <https://findtap.com/> - Chile – Refill <https://refill.org.uk/> (Santiago de Chile only) - Europe (public fountains) – Mapy.cz <https://de.mapy.cz/zakladni?x=14.6255315&y=49.6750759&z=8&q=pitn%C3%A1%20voda&cat=1> - France – Refill <https://refill.org.uk/> / EU Touring <https://www.eutouring.com/map_drinking_water_fountains_paris.html>(Paris only) - Germany – Refill Deutschland <https://refill-deutschland.de/> - Greece –Refill <https://refill.org.uk/> - Hongkong – Water for Free <https://waterforfree.org/en/> - India – BluHop <https://www.bluhop.com/> - Indonesia – Refill Asia <https://refillasia.com/> / RefillMyBottle <https://refillmybottle.com/> - Ireland – Refill Ireland <https://www.refill.ie/tap-map?fbclid=IwAR0LSSvAXeohvU44mxfoEXVcTRMCT207hu3cHaFPHsruT7kQqBTSY3oN1x4> - Italy – Refill <https://refill.org.uk/> / Refill Elba <https://refillelba.com/?fbclid=IwAR0bsAap5Zn5uDbiZJomjhevU2mcI5rog5WTdUZXUMwxj-VZU6NTamSwCmQ> (Elba island only) - Japan – MyMizu <https://www.mymizu.co/> - Laos – Refill Asia <https://refillasia.com/> / RefillMyBottle <https://refillmybottle.com/> - Luxemborg –Refill <https://refill.org.uk/> - Switzerland – FILL IT UP <http://fillitup.ch/karte.html?fbclid=IwAR0LLkykOD92K24dgHllJtcBconZBYkM9CfrItwK4TLU7xDmdXJnRnlb-n8> - The Netherlands – Refill <https://refill.org.uk/>/ Drinkwaterkaart <https://drinkwaterkaart.nl/> / Publiek Water <http://refillambassadors.com/publiek-water/> - New Zealand – RefillNZ <https://refillnz.org.nz/where/> - Thailand – Refill Asia <https://refillasia.com/> / RefillMyBottle <https://refillmybottle.com/> - U.K. – Refill <https://refill.org.uk/> - United States – Tap <https://findtap.com/> - Vietnam – Refill Asia <https://refillasia.com/> / RefillMyBottle <https://refillmybottle.com/> - Worldwide – Closca <https://closca.com/pages/closca-water-app> On Mon, 27 Jan 2020 at 12:40, Martin Koppenhoefer <dieterdre...@gmail.com> wrote: > > > Am Mo., 27.
