Hi,
I don't think it should be mapped. I used to take part in it years ago
and I can tell you that the environments where UrbEx can be practiced
are so highly varied I can't think of any meaningful way to tag it.
Also, the tastes, experience and willingness to take risks vary widely
among UrbExers. What some may consider interesting, others will find
mundane and vice versa. Some may only explore an abandoned factory,
others will climb the fence into a working one. Some like buildings,
others like sewers, still others like railway infrastructure, old
military installations etc.
All the common UrbEx features already have their respective OSM tags.
If I were looking for a place to go UrbExing, I'd look for physical
features that interest me and pick those that are tagged as abandoned,
ruined, disused, derelict etc.
