Well that's one example I gave, so we agree ? You've simplified my
usecase so it's hard to see what exactly you have in mind. How do we
handle the usecase "this road has two refs A nd B, the source for ref
A is X, the sources for ref B are Y and Z" ? IMHO this is easy to do
with a suffix syntax:

> ref_2=B
> source:ref_1=X
> source_1:ref_2=Y
> source_2:ref_2=Z

but that needs to be understood and agreed uppon.
