there is clearly huge local differences, map what you think is
appropriate. If the land is accessible, different sections might be
useful for orientation. Still they might not completely arbitrarily
cut, allowing you to deduct topology from the layout (this of course
is dependent on the type of landscape, e.g. hills vs. plains).
