How emotions can be represented in any form is of course
an interesting *artistic* question.

But when this becomes a research project 'in order to
maximise empathy' this feels very close to an attempt
at developing techniques for subliminal manipulation.

And no matter how noble and justified the original
motivation, you can be sure that the results can and
will be used for less positive ends.

Societal problems like sexual harassment need positive
action based on rational considerations, and not on
emotional manipulation. We have more than enough of
the latter on social media.

I'm sorry I have to say this, but this project looks
to me very much like an effort to fit in with the
excessively 'woke' climate that is engulfing the
academic world.
