I have an old CD of this album which seems to be genuine UHJ encoded.

One of the tracks on the album has a brief synthesised harp sound which pans
from front left towards the listener (in the middle of the square) past the tip
of your nose and curves away again towards the front right, all in one smooth
arc if you like. Very impressive for basic 2 channel UHJ and only 4 speakers I
thought.

The integrity of the UHJ encoding may well be lost if the re mastering was done
with no regard to the surround presentation but I have not listened to a re
mastered version.

Regards,
Alan

According to wikipedia "It is a full digital production and both the LP and

CD releases was encoded using the two-channel Ambisonic UHJ format."

Does that mean that all CDs of this album will be encoded in UHJ or
can

that be lost in the mastering somehow?

         Thanks,
