1) While drawing a group of e-mail addresses from one address book
into a second one without loosing them in the first address book
(duplicating into another address book) doesn't work any longer since
quiet a number of versions, now even the dragging of e-mail addresses
e.g. from the collected addresses or the personal address book into
another address book doesn't work any longer at all. - Or do I have
overlooked a secret (new?) setting possibility.
2) Unfortunately imho the "collect all" address collection function to
get all addresses from to or cc sent address lists in received e-mails
is not given any more since the days mozilla evolved from netscape. Or
have I overlooked something? How can I quickly (one click) harvest all
e-mail addresses from an incoming mail into my address book?
3) In addition: Once you install a newer version of Seamonkey on a new
computer and have migrated the most important files for your mails
etc., Seamonkey asks you for the address compare function with which
address book in your address book the e-mail you entered into the
address field of your mail shall be compared. You can click one,
selected or all. How can one reverse or alter that selection? I e.g.
don't want seamonkey to compare any longer with the old address book
which I still maintain as part of my address book collection. Any
hint?
Last but not least: I have the feeling that it would be welcomed by
many if someone would sit down and give the address book and its
functions a complete new shape and functionality.
Thanks
