Eureka! it shows stars now and all the other things that rely on star
positions. Your change was only to the cmakeLists.txt.
No start up splash but Stellarium starts in about 3 seconds and runs on this
old XP at 30fps with 7 star cats (no stars 80fps)
I will go and test it on the Win 8 lap top

I will give it a go. Should only take about 15 mins to find out. I am building
the release version now. I did the Debug version first and have not tried a
debug version since the release versions compiled
