spamdyke doesn't know the difference between a remote server and a remote client; to spamdyke every connection is the same. The only difference is the IP address and the rDNS name associated with that IP address. "Real" mail servers have rDNS names and those rDNS names make sense. That's why they pass spamdyke's filters. On the other hand, clients often have no rDNS names or they have names that indicate they are dynamic IP addresses. In most configurations, spamdyke blocks those connections unless the client authenticates.
