I found this post in the archive, so i use this, to add my problem und maybe a solution.
The problem in this case seems to be, the mail is always whitelistet, cause from is known. I use Spamdyke with following options: reject-empty-rdns reject-unresolvable-rdns reject-missing-sender-mx reject-ip-in-cc-rdns + Greylisting Even greylisting is bypassed. Due to the fact i don't use any additional Spamfilter, i now get all these mails. Is it right, Spamdyke knows if the incoming mail was send by server or by client? When i'm right, a client needs to authenticate, while a server does not. So if there is an incoming request from a server, sending me a mail from a user that has the same address, i'm accepting mails for, this must be spam, except the adress is configured on two servers. In this case maybe the method is unusable, but in most cases it should be secure to drop this mail. If i'm wrong it would be nice some could tell me, the problem of my idea. I never realy tried to understand, why my client needs to authentificate to the server but all other servers are aloud to send there mails, to mine without authentificate. Thx anyway Christopher _______________________________________________ spamdyke-users mailing list [email protected] http://www.spamdyke.org/mailman/listinfo/spamdyke-users
