Well after the minor tweaks to this, updates won't happen for about 5-15 days each. So that would be overkill. This is to give me time to generate a fresh SPAM corpus to pull URIs from. Also allows me to do some actual work here at the office :) > To that end, we could even setup a > little web-based > app whereby a coalition of we vigilantes could add spammy > domains to the > list for automatic inclusion. Hence has all the trouble of hosting an RBL. > If we can find a way to help Chris keep a constantly > maintained version of > the file, I know I could at least write a shell script to > wget the file, > overwrite, and restart spamd. The best way is to give me a simple list of evil spamhost domains in a text file. 1 per line. Maybe weekly? I could add it to my own, and update. I can make available my simple script that strips the URIs out of a corpus if needed. The only trouble I see with that, is I don't have copies of the spam should someone have a problem with claiming an FP. I have to see about mirrors. The SARE (SpamAssassin Rule Emporium) will be moving to a bigger and better place. So I'll have to talk to the 'inner circle' :) I don't have enough bandwidth to take my server down :( (Yes Phil, I have Bandwidth envy!) There was a minor update this morning. 2 FPs (One ebay related and one I thought I removed already) and some silly spaces removed by a list member. (Don't know if he wants his name known, credit will be given if he doesn't mind. Many thanks to him.) Well those are my random morning thoughts! Oh yeah, did everyone in Atlanta see the sports scores this morning? Go Bruins! ;) --Chris ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials. Become an expert in LINUX or just sharpen your skills.
