Your ISP has an smtp server no? That is the smarthost. Under sendmail you would define your smarthost via: define(`SMART_HOST',`<smptservernamehere>') Replace <smptservernamehere> with the name of your ISP's smtp server. Then create you sendmail.cf from from the mc file. I'm not sure how to do it under other mail software.
