Cheers for answering all the snipped out questions, basically I re inventing the wheel, and writing a php/database driven user_prefs configuration utility (partly for fun/project and partly to get to know spam assassin better), the reason I asked about increment the score settings was on the interface, I want to have a drop down box, with the numbers that can be used, so from -5 >>> +5, I wasn't sure how to increment them, i.e -5, -4,-3 etc... or -0.005, 0.004 ....
