They aren't deprecated; they are gone.

Only if you think you want to change the setting.

In any case, "reading up" doesn't provide any reference to the fact that
report_safe  has replaced two previous settings, nor does anything refer to
those settings as being removed.

I do technical doc for a living. This was an oversight, pure and simple.
"Implied" information is no information.
