I don't see why not however you would have to use the one with SA as your domain MX mail forwarder to your iPlanet server. It would also require that you maintain security on 2 systems (anti-relay, etc) as well.
I'm currently looking hard at the new and well received Toshiba Magnia CG20 firewall/packet/stateful/virus/spam appliance as a frontline defense solution ($2200us roughly) but I can't imagine using a pizzabox server with IDE RAID/Linux/PostFix/SA wouldn't work just as well for doing spam only. I want to know if I can have a box in front of our mail server that will use SA to scan the messages and then forward the messages to our iplanet box. I just want to know if that is possible. I have been told that SA must be run on the email server. -- Jon Fraley Unix Systems Administrator Glen Raven, Inc (336) 586-1148 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
